System Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

1. System Analysis and Design:
   
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for logistics systems.
• Assess current logistics systems to identify areas for improvement, optimization, and innovation.
• Design system workflows, data flows, and integration points to meet organizational needs.
2. Technical Support and Implementation:
   
• Provide technical support during system implementation, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure technical feasibility and integration of new logistics solutions.
• Monitor system performance and propose enhancements.
3. Collaboration and Communication:
   
• Work closely with stakeholders, including operations, IT, and management, to gather and validate requirements.
• Serve as a liaison between business units and technical teams to ensure effective communication.
• Prepare and deliver technical documentation, training, and support materials for end-users.
4. System Integration and Testing:
   
• Ensure the seamless integration of logistics systems with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, WMS, TMS).
• Develop and execute test plans to validate system functionality and performance.
• Conduct system audits and ensure data accuracy and consistency across platforms.
5. Project Management and Innovation:
   
• Manage technical aspects of logistics system projects, ensuring on-time delivery within budget.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in logistics and supply chain management.
• Recommend and implement innovative solutions to streamline logistics processes.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Logistics, or a related field.
• Experience:
  
• 35 years of experience in systems analysis, logistics technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience with logistics systems such as Transportation Management Systems (TMS) or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Strong knowledge of system integration and APIs.
• Technical Skills:
  
• Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, SQL) and database management.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Experience with data analytics and reporting tools.
• Soft Skills:
  
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
