SCADA Technical Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Own the proposal management process. Lead and manage preparation of SCADA and RTU related technical proposals and ensure consistent quality, uniformity and timely delivery based on customer requirement.
• Review technical proposal requirements & determine key technical issues for compliance / non-compliance evaluation
• Manage the development of engineered technical offerings for proposals
• Engage with sub-vendors / partners - technically and commercially to bring out an effective and customized value proposition along with sales team
• Coordinate with technical/project team and the various functional departments for proposal preparation based on established product work breakdown structure
• Co-ordinate documentation requirements to ensure technical proposals are published on time to meet deadlines
• Participate in review of technical proposal deliverables ensuring the proposal package meets the structure & content requirements of Customer
• Report technical proposal status and progress through monthly reports, meetings/ con call and other ad hoc communications
• Arrange the techno-commercial compliant offer from the sub-vendors

Preferred candidate profile

• Domain expertise in automation solutions like SCADA, RTUs
• Knowledge of automation industry and exposure to technical Solutioning
• Established relationships and contacts at the executive level will be an added advantage
• Should have basic knowledge for the SCADA solutions in the Power/Metros
• Knowledge of SCADA engineering process, I/O preparation, SCADA System architecture, Bill of material preparation, SCADA Software functionalities, Protocols like (IEC 60870-5-104/101, IEC 61850, DNP, Modbus, Profibus, DLMS etc) is required
• Should have worked on a minimum 2-3 medium size (5-10 Cr) SCADA Projects execution with ownership of SCADA Engineering for these projects
