Job Description
Experience: 4 - 7 years
Qualification: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Role Overview :
The position will be responsible for managing the company s receivables, ensuring timely collection of payments, tracking outstanding balances, and maintaining accurate financial records in SAP. The role involves regular follow-ups with customers, reviewing overdue invoices, handling bank guarantees (BG) and letters of credit (LC), and collaborating with the sales and finance teams to optimize cash flow.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Overall Control of Accounts Receivables
- Monitor and manage the company s receivables to ensure timely collections.
- Minimize outstanding debts and optimize cash flow.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve billing and payment-related issues.
2. Collection Tracking, Posting, and Clearing in SAP
- Track and follow up on pending payments from customers.
- Post and reconcile collections in SAP.
- Ensure proper accounting of receipts and customer adjustments.
3. AR Ageing & Reporting
- Prepare and analyze AR ageing reports to track overdue payments.
- Provide management with regular updates on receivable status.
- Identify high-risk accounts and take necessary action.
4. Review and Control of Old Pending Receivables
- Conduct periodic reviews of pending invoices and outstanding amounts.
- Work closely with the sales and finance teams to resolve long-pending dues.
- Implement strategies to reduce bad debts and improve collections.
5. BG/LC Vetting and Controlling
- Review, verify, and manage bank guarantees (BG) and letters of credit (LC).
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and legal requirements.
- Work with banks and customers for smooth processing of BG/LC.
6. Releasing of Sales Orders in SAP
- Evaluate customer credit limits and outstanding dues before releasing orders.
- Approve or hold sales orders based on creditworthiness and company policies.
- Work with the sales team to ensure seamless order processing.
7. Tracking and Controlling of Post-Dated Cheques (PDCs)
- Maintain records of post-dated cheques (PDCs) received from customers.
- Ensure timely deposit and reconciliation of PDCs.
