Job Description
Overall Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate QA to lead our automation testing efforts. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in automation scripting, a deep understanding of testing strategies, and the ability to manage a team while ensuring the successful delivery of quality assurance processes.
Responsibilities: - Lead automation testing efforts by developing and maintaining test scripts for complex applications.
- Analyze project requirements to suggest appropriate test strategies and test plans tailored for larger, complex projects.
- Oversee data migration testing projects, ensuring data integrity and quality throughout the migration process.
- Manage a team of QA professionals, providing guidance, support, and status reporting to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of testing processes within the software development lifecycle.
- Proficiency in automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP, TestNG, JUnit).
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript) for test automation.
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
Automation Testing:
- Hands-on experience in scripting for automation testing.
- Ability to develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts.
Data Migration:
- Experience in data migration projects, including data validation and quality assurance.
Team Management:
- Proven ability to manage and lead a team of QA professionals effectively.
- Minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in automation testing, with a focus on complex projects.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality testing outcomes in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain automation test scripts and frameworks for ongoing projects.
- Analyze requirements and create detailed test plans and strategies.
- Manage the QA team, providing mentorship and support as needed.
- Conduct regular status meetings to report progress, issues, and updates to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and project managers to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
