Job Description

Job Title: Accounts and Admin Executive

Location: Bengaluru, India (Hybrid Work Model)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting (Primary Focus)

  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process and record incoming and outgoing payments, ensure timely follow-up on outstanding invoices.
  • Bookkeeping & Ledger Maintenance: Maintain accurate financial records in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks), reconcile bank statements, and ensure error-free data entry.
  • Invoicing & Billing: Generate, verify, and dispatch invoices, monitor payment status, and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • GST & Tax Compliance: Assist in the preparation and filing of monthly/quarterly/annual returns (GST, TDS, etc.) while staying updated on changes in tax regulations.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, profit/loss statements, and other periodic analyses for management review.
  • Audit Support: Coordinate with external auditors, provide required documentation, and assist in audit processes.

2. Administration (Secondary Focus)

  • Office Coordination: Oversee the purchase and maintenance of office supplies and equipment, liaise with vendors, and manage service contracts.
  • Record Management: Maintain organized digital and physical records for easy retrieval of documents and compliance requirements.
  • Travel & Meeting Arrangements: Assist with booking travel tickets, accommodation, and scheduling meetings as needed.
  • Facility Management: Ensure basic upkeep of the office environment and coordinate repairs or maintenance work.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Bachelors degree in commerce, accounting, or a related field.

Experience: 4+ years of experience in accounting or finance; exposure to administrative tasks is preferred.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Zoho books
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong proficiency with filing Purchase Orders, invoicing customers etc.
  • Familiarity with GST, TDS, and other financial regulations

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to multitask and handle competing priorities
  • Problem-solving mindset and proactive approach
