Who are we looking for? What is the work?

Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable e-commerce platforms using open-source technologies.
Architect, build, and optimize back-end and front-end components to deliver robust and high-performance web applications.
Guide the team in adopting best coding practices, ensuring high-quality code through code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration.
Collaborate closely with business development, designers, and developers to ensure alignment on business goals and technical requirements.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement solutions in a timely manner.
Stay updated with the latest developments in open-source frameworks and tools to ensure the team leverages the best technologies for suggesting billable improvements to the clients
Mentor and support the professional growth of junior developers, providing technical guidance and fostering a collaborative team environment.
Manage the deployment of new features and bug fixes, ensuring seamless operation of the e-commerce platform.

What skills and experience are we looking for?

Open-Source E-commerce Platforms: Strong experience with platforms like Magento, WooCommerce, PrestaShop, or similar.
Programming Languages: Proficiency in PHP, Python, JavaScript, or other open-source languages.
Frameworks and Libraries: Hands-on experience with Laravel, Django, React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Databases: Expertise in MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
Version Control: Strong knowledge of Git and version control systems.
Cloud & DevOps: Experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines.
API Development: Strong experience in developing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
E-commerce Integrations: Hands-on experience with payment gateways, shipping APIs, and other third-party tools.
Bachelors or Master s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in a leadership role managing development teams.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Passionate about staying updated on new open-source technologies and best practices.
Experience in performance optimization and scaling of e-commerce systems.
Previous work on international e-commerce platforms with a focus on high availability and fault tolerance.
