Sr. Accounts Manager

What is the work?

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, taxation, and auditing.
• Lead and supervise the accounts team to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely financial reporting.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes and prepare financial statements in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Provide guidance on tax compliance, internal controls, and financial management policies.
• Ensure all accounting processes comply with legal, regulatory, and organizational standards.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, offering strategic recommendations to senior management for cost reduction and process improvements.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and other third-party agencies.
• Participate in business planning and financial forecasting to support strategic goals.
• Contribute to the development of financial strategies to optimize business performance.

What skills and experience are we looking for?

• CA (Chartered Accountant) or equivalent credentials preferred.
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in accounting and finance, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Proven expertise in handling complex accounting functions and systems.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial regulations.
• Experience with financial software and ERP systems.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a focus on driving results.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex financial challenges.
