Job Role : City Manager - Supply Partnership & Commercials Team


What you would do :

Vendor Onboardimg and Relationship Mangement

  • Lead the onboarding process for new vendors within the city, ensuring compliance with company standards, quality requirements, and operational efficiency.

  • Lead contract negotiations at the city level, focusing on terms that align with business goals and cost optimization

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local suppliers to ensure reliable and timely supply while managing risks associated with vendor dependencies.

  • Ensure vendor capacity planning to meet the city s business plans, taking corrective action as required.

Supply Chain Strategy & Management

  • Managing day-to-day supply chain operations within the city from procurement through to delivery, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.

  • Work with local vendors to customize supply strategies based on city-specific needs, ensuring on-time and cost-effective deliveries.

  • Work closely with vendors to monitor pricing, track procurement costs, and ensure inventory levels meet the required fill rates (100%) for the city .

  • Build route plans for distribution for the assigned city ensuring the timely delivery as per the unit convenience time.

  • Continuously evaluate vendor performance and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements in the city s supply chain.

Relationship Management with Key Stakeholders

  • Build relationships and work closely with internal teams (Operations, HR, Finance, Legal, and Business) to ensure smooth coordination of supply chain functions.

  • Collaborate with the legal team to ensure vendor contracts are compliant with legal requirements and aligned with the city s objectives.

  • Maintain ongoing communication with city-based teams to monitor inventory levels, fulfillment rates, and to address any supply chain disruptions.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings within the supply chain and implement best practices.

  • Partner with the logistics and operations teams to ensure timely delivery and mitigate any disruptions in the supply chain.

Finance

  • Manage the supply chain budgets at the city level, ensuring operational efficiency and cost optimization.
  • Work closely with the finance team to monitor and control supply chain costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure adherence to the budget.
  • Contribute to the development of cost-effective pricing models and support the monitoring of supply chain performance metrics.

Team Management

  • Lead and develop the local Supply Partnership & Commercials Team, providing guidance and support for efficient daily operations.
  • Conduct performance reviews and ensure that team members have the resources and training needed to meet targets and deadlines.

Desired Experience :

  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, vendor negotiation, and partnership management, with at least 2 years in a managerial level role.

  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to develop strategic supplier partnerships.

  • Strong knowledge on Budgeting and P & L

  • Strategic Thinking

  • People Management

  • In-depth knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices.

  • Strong leardership-ability to influence and drive change.
