ABOUT THE TEAM & ROLE :

Swiggy's IT Security team focuses on safeguarding our digital assets and ensuring seamless and secure operations across all platforms. This role will enable you to work on critical IAM initiatives, ensuring robust access management frameworks to enhance our security posture. As an IAM Engineer, you will have the opportunity to define and implement IAM strategies, architect solutions, and manage systems in a dynamic, multi-cloud environment.

What will you get to do here ?

1. Identity and Access Management Strategy :

- Define and implement an IAM strategy aligned with Swiggy's security roadmap.

- Contribute to IAM projects that enhance access control, authentication, and identity lifecycle management.

- Develop and enforce policies, standards, and procedures for IAM practices across the organization.

2. IAM Solution Architecture and Implementation :

- Design and deploy IAM solutions, including SSO, MFA, PAM, and RBAC.

- Integrate IAM systems with cloud and on-premises applications for seamless and secure access.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute IAM architectures aligned with business needs.

3. System Administration and Maintenance :

- Maintain and support IAM infrastructure, ensuring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and applying updates.

- Ensure smooth operations across environments like AWS, Azure, and GCP.

- Conduct periodic access reviews, certifications, and audits to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.

4. Threat Detection and Incident Response :

- Develop mechanisms to detect and respond to IAM-related security incidents.

- Analyze IAM threats, updating policies and controls to mitigate risks proactively.

- Collaborate with the SOC team to address IAM-related alerts and vulnerabilities.

5. Compliance and Governance :

- Ensure IAM policies align with industry standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2) and regulatory requirements.

- Conduct regular audits and assessments, providing recommendations for improvement.

6. Documentation and Training :

- Document IAM processes, procedures, and policies for operational continuity.

- Conduct training sessions on IAM best practices and security awareness.

What qualities are we looking for ?

Qualifications :

- Education : Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related fields. Master's degree preferred.

- Experience : 3-4 years in IAM roles, with proven expertise in designing and implementing IAM solutions.

- Certifications : Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM) or equivalent is highly desirable.

Technical Skills :

- Expertise with IAM tools like SailPoint, CyberArk, Okta, Ping Identity, and Azure AD.

- Strong understanding of authentication standards (SSO, MFA, OAuth, OpenID Connect, JWT).

- Experience in multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Java for automation.

- In-depth knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP, and identity lifecycle management.

Preferred Qualities :

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and resolve complex IAM issues.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to manage cross-functional teams.
