Full Stack Developer

Job Brief:

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer with a strong background in building scalable, maintainable, and modular web applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with Laravel, managing APIs, and implementing best practices in back-end development. You should be adept at solving complex problems and working collaboratively in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Application Architecture: Design and develop scalable and maintainable applications following Laravels MVC architecture.
• API Development & Integration: Build, test, and integrate RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless communication between front-end and back-end systems.
• Database Design: Design and optimize databases using MySQL, ensuring data integrity and scalability for large-scale systems.
• Authentication and Authorization: Implement role-based access control (RBAC)
• Performance Optimization: Identify bottlenecks and improve application performance by optimizing queries, caching, and database indexing.
• Task Scheduling and Queues: Configure Laravel queues and task scheduling to handle background jobs and periodic processes efficiently.
• Version Control: Use GitHub or other version control systems to manage codebases, review pull requests, and collaborate effectively.
• Agile Workflow: Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Laravel Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with Laravel, including advanced features like Eloquent ORM, middleware, and service providers.
• Database Management: Proficient in designing and managing databases using MySQL. Experience with migrations, seeders, and database optimization techniques.
• RESTful APIs: Extensive experience in developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Authentication Systems: Knowledge of implementing secure authentication systems with JWT.
• Caching and Queues: Experience with caching mechanisms (Redis) and Laravel queue drivers for handling background jobs.
• Version Control: Proficient in Git and experience with platforms like GitHub.
• Security Best Practices: Strong understanding of web security principles, including protection against SQL injection, XSS, and CSRF.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to debug complex issues and implement robust solutions effectively.
• Collaboration Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in back-end development, specifically with Laravel.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
• Proven experience working in Agile teams and adhering to best practices in back-end development.
