Role
Day to day running of Food processing laboratory for their respective parameters as per the food safety
standard rules and regulations, the products Spices (both blended and CTC), paste, pickle, RTE, RTC
etc food products
To ensure compliance as FSTL to quality management systems (BRC, ISO 22000, US FDA, EIA,
Internal Standards etc.) & FSSAI guide line.
Responsible to ensure the compliance of statutory obligation on labels for both domestic, other countries
To build and implement IQ, OQ, and PQ systems for new installations across the factory.
Responsible to build corrective and preventive actions and ensuring implementation to eliminate critical
consumer complaints
Responsible for the management of contingency policy for product recall.
Responsible to develop and train the production/operation team to build continual improvements in
upgrading quality process and quality culture in the organization.
Responsible to identify process gaps and re-engineering the process to build zero defect process (In
manufacturing and packaging). Change/Upgrade across processes/plants and transform QC culture to
QA culture with co-ordination with respective factory managers.
Main tasks and/or projects:
To ensure periodic plant and vendor audits and its compliance and timely closure of Non-conformities
To ensure periodic reviews on food safety objectives and process verification is executed.
To ensure timely implementation of CAPA for internal/external deviations.
To ensure to identify potential deviation occurrences and build preventive actions
To ensure to formulate processes and periodic verification/validation / up-gradation to achieve food
safety objectives.
To ensure to constantly identify training requirements (On the job and other training needs) to build a
strong performance-oriented quality team.
Having GMP-oriented, and Foods Safety oriented in association with HR Team.
Candidate Profile Education (Level and area):
B.Tech./ M. Sc in any of the following areas: Chemistry / Microbiology/ Food Technology/Engineering
Experience of over 10 + years in QC/QA in FMCG-food sector (preferable -spice industries)
should have good knowledge on food processing chemical lab equipment and microbiological lab
equipment
Should have good analytical skill and knowledge on different outside agencies for testing
Competence/Skills:
MS Office.
Interpersonal Skills.
Systems and Process orientation.
