Position : Monitoring Engineer

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal in English.
• 7+ years of experience in information Technology focusing within the monitoring space.
• Self-driven individual who has the personal drive to enhance and fix issues they see during the day.
• While ensuring process/procedures are being performed. • Keen interest in the Open-Source community and Open-Source technology.
• Excellent documentation skills • Strong knowledge of Operating systems spanning over multiple flavours, Windows, Linux, AIX, UNIX, etc...
• Strong scripting ability in Shell/Python/PowerShell/JavaScript.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong knowledge of system provisioning tools preferably Ansible.
• Excellent knowledge of monitoring and monitoring solutions preferably in some or all the below.
• Zabbix
• Dynatrace
• Grafana
• Loki
• Good understanding of containers
• Excellent understanding of networking (DNS/DHCP/TFTP/Routing/etc..).
• Good understanding of Hypervisors
