Mechanical Service Engineer- Site Support ( SEL Hadapsar, Pune)

Role & responsibilities:

This job involves handling different activities such as Technical documentation for NPD projects, review of product drawings and documents, finalizing the crane scheme and site support for NPD proto type installation and other site issues during IL phase.

Below is the detailed description of the activities performed relevant for this position:-

• Preparing technical documents such a Mechanical tools and tackles list, PQHC, Weight and dimension document, Process work instructions (PWI), PFMEA, DFMEA and QCP for all the field processes.

• Reviewing product drawings, mechanical installation manuals, torque list and providing timely feedback through RSD (review summary document), participate into improvement of the overall product.

• Finalizing crane scheme and erection layout for new products and proto locations.

• Releasing and communicating all Quality documents of NPD project and product changes to C2C engineering.

• Managing and storing all the Quality documents and NPD projects related data on central PC.

• Participate into internal and external audits and ensuring process compliance within the TG-BOP.

• Participate into New vendor development for lifting, tower, nacelle, hub and blade components.

• Involvement into New Product Development, enhancing the existing products through CAD tool (Inventor/AutoCAD). Understanding of design intent and Analysis.

• Leading installation and erection activities for proto type of new product WTG components at site level.

• Timely support to WTG serial installation activities at site level

• High involvement into validation of new lifting tools and lifting jigs during proto type installation at site.

• Capture learnings through proto operations and new product engineering and implement those onto upcoming products as a part of KAIZEN (continuous improvement).

• Participate into value engineering ideas for process and product improvement and handle any relevant Design change project (DCI) if required.

• It is mandatory to climb WTG during installation and commissioning activities to meet all the quality requirements

• High involvement into resolution of C2C & OMS issues and preparing respective RCAs
