Manager: Business Development

3-10 years experience in business development related to Chemical and Pharmaceuticals equipment Design and Manufacturing Industry.

Job Profile: -

• Formulate, coordinate and realize the commercial objectives, as well as the strategic and operational marketing and sales activities, as part of the business plan, in order to meet the organization's objectives regarding market positioning, sales, market share and efficiency.
• Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives. Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities. Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones. Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
• Identifying business growth opportunities and develops strategies to increase company sales. Generates new contracts and sales leads to drive sales growth. Initiates project management for new client implementation and directs new sales initiatives. Manage client relationships.
• Setting goals and developing plans for business and revenue growth. Researching, planning, and implementing new target market initiatives. Researching prospective accounts in target markets. Pursuing leads and moving them through the sales cycle.
• Increasing revenues, growth in terms of business expansion, increasing profitability by building strategic partnerships, and making strategic business decisions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of process equipments required in Chemical and Pharma industry (Metallic and Polymer)
• Generating business through online portals.
• Candidates should know to write proposals for projects etc.
• Develop mutually beneficial proposals, negotiate contract terms and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Perform market analysis and research on different competitor in the market.
• Innovative and problem-solving skills that include the ability to develop and propose equipment-based solutions for clients.
• Assist in promotional activities (e.g. social media, direct mail, and web).
• Manage and update the company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM).

Education Qualification

• Degree / PG in business development or business management, with relevant experience in dealing with Pharmaceutical / Chemical equipment. Engineering background preferable
