Sales Engineer

We are looking for a Sales Engineer with over 3 years of experience in sales to support the Southern India region.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering technical support to key partners across our product portfolio. This includes conducting pre-sales demonstrations (preparing quotations and technical responses to bids and tenders), providing post-sales (technical support), and delivering training to partners.

The role will primarily involve working with radio frequency (RF)-based technologies, including Analogue, DMR, TETRA, LTE, and POC terminals. As part of a dynamic and rapidly evolving industry, this role offers continuous opportunities for learning and career growth.

Requirements:

This is a hands-on, practical role that requires a blend of strong technical expertise and a commercial mindset. The ideal candidate will possess:

• Extensive experience and deep knowledge of RF systems, with a focus on industry-equivalent technologies.
• Proven background in sales of PMR products (Analogue, DMR, LTE, TETRA) for public safety or commercial users.
• Experience in a sales role within a commercial/B2B environment, particularly within a high-tech product development organization working alongside sales partners.
• A degree in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
• Solid understanding of RF principles and communication systems.
• Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g., TCP/IP), as well as knowledge of the Internet and Cloud technologies, is highly advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills with a methodical approach to identifying trends and resolving recurring issues.
• In-depth knowledge of RF analogue and digital communication systems and terminals.
• Willingness to travel within Southern India as required by the role.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, at a professional level. Additionally, proficiency in a native South Indian language (such as Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, or Malayalam) is required to engage effectively with local partners and customers in the Southern India region.
