Job Description

Surya International Enterprise Private Limited is seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Planning to lead our planning department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all aspects of strategic, operational, and project planning to ensure the companys objectives are met effectively and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Planning
   
• Develop and implement long-term and short-term strategic plans for the company.
• Collaborate with senior management to align planning initiatives with organizational goals.
• Identify potential risks and opportunities, and prepare contingency plans.
2. Operational Planning
   
• Oversee resource allocation and ensure optimal utilization of resources across departments.
• Develop project timelines, budgets, and milestones for key initiatives.
• Ensure the smooth execution of plans by coordinating with relevant departments.
3. Project Management and Monitoring
   
• Lead planning for new projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
• Monitor the progress of projects and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Analyze performance metrics and prepare comprehensive reports for stakeholders.
4. Process Improvement
   
• Continuously evaluate and improve planning processes and methodologies.
• Implement tools and systems to enhance planning efficiency and accuracy.
5. Team Leadership
   
• Build and lead a high-performing planning team.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to team members.
• Foster a collaborative and proactive planning culture within the organization.

Key Qualifications

• Masters/Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in strategic planning, project planning, or related fields, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency in planning tools and software.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
