Surgical Notes is hiring a Quality Analyst (RCM) who will be responsible for Complete comprehension of the revenue cycle. Audits daily and provides feedback to teammates. Works with senior teammates to propose process improvements to ensure work transitions should be error-free and can apply knowledge across other clients. Working as a part of the team to meet deadlines, but also being able to work independently is crucial to success in this position. Responsibilities:
Auditing - Ensures that task transitions to new teammate are error-free and the audit is performed on a daily, weekly, bi-weekly or on monthly basis as per the requirement and review results, provides feedback to the audited teammate and offer suggestions for areas of improvement to gain a better understanding of the billing process.
Facility Learning - The Quality Analyst has deep knowledge of the client that he or she is leading. A Quality Analyst should take the initiative and spend time with other teammates on his or her client to learn about the other tasks that are required by the other teammates. Facility learning will also ensure that new information can be updated on any Zulu documents that contain client information, such as the billing guidelines and the A/R cheat sheet. Preparing reports and summaries in discussion with the Team Leader.
Communication of Client Information and Rules
Providing updates to RCM regularly to ensure teammates know of new information and rules. The below items are considered a part of, but not limited to, client information:
Billing Guidelines
Payer contracts
Other Responsibilities
Displaying cool and composed attitude during rebuttals and discussions.
Meet regularly with Team leaders/Supervisor to review previous day quality results.
Highlight potential issues in the operations to management.
Weekly review with supervisors.
Trending errors to determine training opportunities.
May provide small group or one-on-one training/cross-training.
Develop recommendations for corrective action based on quality issues.
Maintains current knowledge of Health policies and guidelines related to documentation, billing, revenue cycle, and as assigned, other professional integrity topics.
Develops or assists in developing training materials. Participates in a positive, helpful, manner at Quality staff meetings as assigned.
Taking initiatives to improve process and quality mechanism.
