Job Description:

As a Camunda 8 Administrator you are responsible for the installation, configuration, and administration of the Camunda BPM (Business Process Management) platform. As a Camunda 8 Administrator you ensure the smooth operation of Camunda applications, handle system monitoring and performance optimization, and provide technical support to users. As a Camunda 8 Administrator you collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and implement Camunda-based solutions that meet Organizational needs.

1. Install, configure, and maintain the Camunda BPM platform, utilizing Java, Spring Framework, and Java Server Faces (JSF) for web-based application development.
2. Monitor the performance and health of the Camunda infrastructure, including application servers (e.g., Apache Tomcat, JBoss), databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL), and middleware technologies (e.g., Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ).
3. Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to Camunda applications, workflows, integrations, and frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS, React).
4. Perform regular backups, disaster recovery planning, and ensure data integrity and security within the Camunda environment.
5. Collaborate with development teams to deploy and test Camunda-based solutions in various environments, including development, testing, and production.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and testers, to ensure successful implementation of Camunda-based solutions.
7. Create and maintain technical documentation, including installation guides, configuration manuals, and troubleshooting procedures.
8. Provide technical support and training to end-users, addressing their queries and issues related to Camunda applications and processes.
9. Stay updated with the latest releases, features, and best practices of the Camunda BPM platform and recommend upgrades or enhancements as needed.

Experience:

1. Hands-on experience on Camunda 8 self-managed installation, multi-tenant architecture, performance management, building integration components aligned to Camunda Connector SDK using Java.
2. Hands-on experience on Camunda 8 Install, configure, and maintain the Camunda BPM platform, utilizing Java, Spring Framework, and Java Server Faces (JSF) for web-based application development.
3. Good working knowledge Scalability and performance of distributed architecture, orchestration and straight-through-processing with even-driven-architecture
4. Good Understanding and Hands-on experience of cloud and its components across GCP, AWS, Azure.
5. Good Understanding and Hands-on experience of IAM, LDAP, SSO and other Security tools integration with Camunda.
6. Good Understanding and Hands-on experience of Infrastructure, Virtualization and Container Orchestration.
7. Good Understanding and Hands-on experience of DevSecOps and YAML.
8. Proven experience as a Camunda Administrator or similar role, working with Camunda BPM platform version 8; Installed, and configured Camunda 8 on AWS infrastructure.
9. Strong knowledge of Camunda BPM platform architecture, installation, configuration, and administration.
10. Experience AWS EKS and containerizing Camunda 8.
11. Knowledge in designing and implementing process models, workflows, decision tables, and forms using Camunda Modeler or similar tools is plus.
12. Knowledge in developing custom plugins, extensions, and integrations using Java and REST API is plus.
13. Solid understanding of databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL) and middleware technologies (e.g., Apache Tomcat, JBoss) used in conjunction with Camunda.
14. Experience in performance monitoring, tuning, and optimization of Camunda applications and infrastructure.
15. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical issues in Camunda applications, workflows, and integrations.
16. Experience of backup and disaster recovery procedures for Camunda infrastructure.
17. Proficiency in Java programming language and experience with Spring Framework and Java Server Faces (JSF) for web application development is plus.
18. Familiarity with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS, and React is plus.
19. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and end-users.
20. Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
21. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus.

Camunda certification or training is desirable but not mandatory.
