Position : Business Analyst - Guidewire Policy Center

Experience : 8+ years of total experience, including 5+ years of relevant experience with Guidewire Policy Center

Employment Type : Contract to Hire

Key Responsibilities :

Requirement Gathering & Analysis :

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements.

- Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications for the Guidewire Policy Center platform.

Solution Design :

- Design and recommend scalable and efficient solutions using Guidewire Policy Center to meet business objectives.

- Work closely with development, QA, and implementation teams to ensure alignment with business goals.

Stakeholder Management :

- Act as a liaison between business users, IT teams, and third-party vendors to ensure smooth communication and alignment.

- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and discussions to gather feedback and refine solutions.

System Configuration & Testing :

- Support system configuration and provide inputs to ensure alignment with business workflows.

- Define test scenarios, review test cases, and participate in functional and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Documentation :

- Prepare and maintain comprehensive business and functional documentation.

- Develop user guides, training materials, and support documentation for end-users and stakeholders.

Project Support :

- Support project planning, execution, and change management activities.

- Monitor and resolve post-implementation issues and enhancements.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Experience :

- Minimum 8 years of total experience, including 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Business Analyst working with the Guidewire Policy Center platform.

Technical Expertise :

- Strong understanding of Guidewire Policy Center modules, configurations, and workflows.

- Familiarity with Guidewire integrations and associated technologies.

Analytical Skills :

- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.

- Proficient in process mapping, business modeling, and gap analysis.

Communication & Collaboration :

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Proven ability to work effectively in a remote environment and collaborate across distributed teams.

Tools :

- Hands-on experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Office Suite, and other BA tools.

Certifications :

- Guidewire certifications or relevant BA certifications are highly preferred.
