Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Guidewire Digital Portal Testing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in testing Guidewire Digital Portal applications, with a focus on ensuring functionality, performance, and reliability. This role is critical to maintaining the quality and efficiency of digital insurance platforms and involves collaboration with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Guidewire Digital Portal Testing : Perform functional, integration, and regression testing of Guidewire Digital Portals (e.g., Customer Portal, Agent Portal, and Vendor Portal).

- Test Strategy Development : Design and document comprehensive test plans, strategies, and scenarios tailored to Guidewire Digital Portal implementations.

- Defect Management : Identify, document, and track defects using test management tools, ensuring their resolution in coordination with developers.

- Automation Expertise : Develop and execute automated test scripts for Guidewire Digital applications using tools like Selenium, UFT, or similar.

- Collaboration : Work closely with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements, provide feedback, and ensure high-quality deliverables.

- Performance Testing : Conduct performance testing to ensure portal stability and responsiveness under varying loads.

- Agile Methodologies : Participate in daily scrums, sprint planning, and retrospectives to align testing activities with project goals.

- Documentation : Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, results, and defect tracking reports for audit and compliance purposes.

- Continuous Improvement : Propose and implement best practices to improve testing processes and quality standards.

Required Qualifications :

Experience :

- 8+ years of total experience in software testing.

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in testing Guidewire Digital Portals.

Technical Skills :

- Strong understanding of the Guidewire platform (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter).

- Proficiency in automation testing tools like Selenium or UFT.

- Knowledge of test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or ALM.

- Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and APIs.

Domain Expertise : Insurance domain knowledge with exposure to policy, claims, and billing workflows.

Soft Skills :

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work in a distributed environment.

- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.

Preferred Skills :

- ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.

- Experience in working with cloud-based Guidewire implementations.

- Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps for test automation pipelines.
