Role & responsibilities

Cardiology Department has a primary role in conducting tests of TMT, ECG, Holter, PFT and ECHO and maintenance of their department. Responsibility at various levels within the Department is as follows:

• Setting up Testing Department
• Receiving of Inventory in the System
• Proper Functioning of Equipments
• Maintaining Departmental Record of Cleaning/House Keeping
• Calling of Patient
• Comparing the Test Requisition in System with that of Prescription
• Consent Form Signing wherever required
• Preparing the Patient for Test/ Explaining the procedure in brief
• Marking Completion of Test in the system and patients Slip
• Making Report in LIM and approval by Reporting Consultant
• Printing of Labels/Film/Graphs and packing
• Forwarding of Report to Reception and Acknowledgement
• Inform Maintenance in case of Machine breakdown/or any other maintenance issues

• Graduate / Certificate Course
• Use of Medical Technologies,
• Performing Diagnostic Procedures, informing Others,
• Quality Focus,
• Planning,
• Technical Understanding,
• Radiologic Technology,
• Analyzing Information Computer savvy-Knowledge of MIS and basic computer skills
