Title: Manager/Lead Supply Planning lead
Job Location-Vikhroli, Mumbai
Job Purpose:
- Manager Supply Planning & Customer service for Cluster by partnering with Demand Planning & Coordinating with plant teams to ensure that Products are available in the region within time with right quantity and optimum utilization of available resources
Accountability Cluster
- Integrate new and existing products by strategic Planning to ensure timely supply, sales and profitability.
- Leading inhouse Cluster Planning ( 7 units) ~500 SKUs with Business value of ~400 + Cr/Month in Multiple Dosage form Tablets, Syrups, Devices, Capsules , Topical , FFS, Rotacaps etc
- Driving stable plan initiative for High volume SKUs
- Drive and Implement supply chain process improvements cross-functionally to make them more effective
- Provide Commitments to Cross Functional Marketing & Demand Planning for Business Planning for next 3 Months and beyond
- Ensuring Smooth transition of New Product Launch & AVD SKUs to Business Maximization through Cross Functional Team Alignment & Planning
- Ensuring the planning considering price maximization plan and other critical pre defined actions and being shared with units as per agreed timeline
- Supporting team for issue resolution by talking to right stake holders at right time
Strong Governance & Risk Mitigation
- Ensuring robust governance process for Risk Sensing & Mitigation
- Driving Weekly Control Tower for Finished Goods & Physician sample supplies inligned with Business Strategy
- Driving Weekly Supply Security for inhouse Cluster with Middle Management for highlighting Risk associated with product serviceability & Risk Mitigation strategies
- Weekly Governance meeting with Demand Planning Team for driving Demand Volatility, Potential Risks & Revenue Maximization strategies
- Monthly Connect with Distribution team for discussion on IDST & Shipping Methodology for critical SKUs
- Resolution of Challenges faced at unit with respect to vehicle availability, space, proc issue , Pkg development issue etc for risk Mitigation
- Ensuring that total sales loss for the cluster is 0.5% of total business value at NRV Month on Month
- Ensuring CvsA for overall inhouse Cluster (500 SKUs) is 98% Month on Month
- Ensuring R vs C and C index targets for each unit is met
- Monthly SnOP deck preparation for inhouse cluster & driving SnoP meeting with unit teams
- Weekly connect with Materials planners & ensuring Materials availability 100% at the start of the month
- Drive, manage and implement supply chain strategies in order to strengthen SCM Process
- Identifying & Benchmarking SCM process with industry at regular intervals to keep up with market scenario & changing trends.
- Provide key input on capabilities requirements and solutions to support the execution of business strategies
- Driving touchless planning initiative in in house cluster though complex constraints management & problem solving
- Developing advanced template for inhouse cluster performance tracking & review
- Ensuring Inventory sourced from inhouse cluster is within the prescribed Inventory Target
- Inventory planning Review for 500 SKUs at annual level for taking tactical decision
- Slow & Non-Moving SKUs identification basis latest trend and driving salvage plan for significant demand drop cases with marketing team
- Driving PO Cancellation/PO Deferment discussion with materials team where there is a risk of Inventory or Expiry same for plan cancelation or deferment for FG
- Analyzing received target & Target bifurcation between units considering Norms, Batch size, Buildups, New Launches etc
- Reviewing Inventory control mechanisms at regular interval & brainstorming on process upgradation at regular interval
- Driving Batch size reduction project for Slow- & Non-Moving SKUs
- Identification & Driving salvage plan for Non Moving RM/PM
- KPI tracking & Reporting
- Monthly KPI Tracking & Reporting the actual numbers along with actions to be taken
- Monthly Loss Tree Tagging for Loss bifurcation in multiple buckets Procurement, Distribution, Overselling etc Manage difficult situations and resolve conflicts.
- Stakeholder management
- Product resolution work with stakeholders to manage issues and escalate as desired
- Risk Sensing & Proactively raising alerts
- Understanding vendors supply chain & driving risk mitigation support to vendor
- Non Integrated systems which is leading to poor real time visibility
Educational qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Management in SCM or Operations
Relevant experience:
8+ years experience. Strong knowledge of SAP MRP systems as well as very good functional knowledge of processes and best practices from the industry
Skill set : Strong communication skills, ability to work with multiple stakeholders, ability to influence cross functional stakeholders, project management skills, entrepreneurial mindset to drive impact in new areas
