Director - Supply Chain Management

Role:

- The Director will provide strategic direction to a business vertical consisting of 600+ employees, including field engineers across India, to ensure smooth, efficient, and resilient supply chain operations.

- The role also requires effective management of OEM partnerships, bank relationships, and the continuous improvement of operational strategies for both SCM and field service functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Direction:

- Lead and manage the end-to-end supply chain operations for POS (Point of Sale) machines, including Key Injection Facility, Materials Management, Warehouse Operations, Procurement, Vendor Management, Inventory Management, Logistics, and Distribution.

- Oversee the deployment, break-fix management, device pick-up and deinstallation, and proactive field service visits to merchants/customers across India. Manage a vertical of 600+ employees, including field engineers.

OEM & Vendor Management:

- Take ownership of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) management for devices/accessories.

- Drive the rollout of new devices/accessory options for merchants/customers through continuous engagement with OEMs, R&D, Product, and Engineering teams.

Bank Relationship & Escalation Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key banking partners, ensuring smooth operational collaboration and ongoing engagement.

- Actively manage escalations and drive strategic initiatives aimed at value creation for stakeholders.

Strategy Development & Execution:

- Develop and roll out effective SCM and field service operation strategies, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.

- Optimize network and channel operations to drive resilience and efficiency within the supply chain and field service operations.

Network Optimization & Continuous Improvement:

- Lead network modeling and remodeling efforts to ensure cost-effective and resilient supply chain management and field service operations.

- Foster a culture of continuous improvement to streamline processes and reduce operational costs.

Operational Excellence:

- Ensure smooth business operations within agreed timelines and quality standards, working closely with cross-functional teams to address challenges and deliver results.

- Monitor performance metrics, provide actionable insights, and implement corrective actions where necessary.
