Job Summary

Management of the branded portfolio ( Biologics) from IP perspective.

Area Of Responsibility

To formulate effective IP strategies to have strong and enforceable branded portfolio to ensure stronger and extended LOE for its proprietary products with the objective of achieving the business target and building potential for sustained revenue growth Globally.

To provide strategic inputs for effective patent filing and prosecution and evaluate strength of our IP branded portfolio.

To look for potential scope of strengthening and extending LOE for our branded portfolio.

To take adequate steps to ensure FTO for our branded products, biosimilars and all other biological products including licensing of IP

To constantly monitor competition and implement effective patent filing strategy to track and trap competition. To also take effective efforts to preempt competition and propose risk mitigation plan to avoid generic competition.

To recommend business based on regulatory, IP, marketing and legal inputs to have additional barriers to reduce competition entry for our branded products.

To do detailed IP due diligence for in -licensing and M&A of biological projects

To track litigation and prepare litigation strategy for biosimilar projects globally

To discuss with R&D / Clinical and regulatory on effective filing and FTO strategies
