Technical Project Manager

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled, hands-on Technical Project Manager with a strong background in .Net technologies, Azure DevOps, and Azure Cloud. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the end-to-end delivery of complex IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget that are aligned with strategic direction and long-term goals of Sun Mobility. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as deep technical expertise.

Role & responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Management: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Monitor and track project progress, managing changes in project scope, schedule, and costs effectively.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of developers, engineers, and other technical staff. Foster a collaborative team environment, ensuring effective communication and coordination among team members.
• Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance and support to the project team, ensuring best practices are followed in .Net development, Azure DevOps, and Azure Cloud implementation. Conduct code reviews and technical assessments.
• Stakeholder Management: Liaise with stakeholders, including clients, to gather project requirements and ensure alignment with business goals. Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders.
• Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies1. Monitor project risks throughout the project lifecycle and take proactive measures to address them.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and performance of the deliverables by implementing comprehensive testing and validation processes. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Continuous Improvement: Promote continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process enhancements and best practices in project management and technical execution.

Preferred candidate profile

• Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager, with a focus on .Net technologies, Azure DevOps, and Azure Cloud2.
• Proficiency in .Net programming languages (C#, .Net Framework, .Net Core) and tools.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure services and solutions.
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) and/or cloud technologies (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) is a plus.
