Job Title: Packaging Material Procurement

Department: Procurement/Quality Assurance

Location: Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad or Gujarat

Job Summary:

Responsible for procurement of packaging materials and ensuring quality standards for towel textile products. This role involves sourcing, evaluating, and purchasing packaging materials while conducting quality inspections to maintain high product standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement:

1. Source and procure packaging materials (bags, labels, cartons, etc.) from suppliers.
2. Negotiate prices, lead times, and payment terms.
3. Ensure timely delivery of packaging materials.
4. Maintain relationships with suppliers.

Quality Inspection:

1. Conduct regular quality checks on finished goods.
2. Inspect packaging materials for defects, quality, and compliance.
3. Identify and address quality issues.
4. Implement quality control processes.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Textile Technology, Materials Science, or related field.
2. 2-3 years of experience in procurement, quality control, or textile industry.
3. Knowledge of packaging materials, textile manufacturing processes, and quality standards.
4. Analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Desirable Skills:

1. Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems.
2. Experience with procurement software.
3. Knowledge of supply chain management.
