Position Title : Asset Manager Crop Protection

Location - Mumbai

Duties and Responsibilities

Major Role

• Understanding and representing user needs.
• Monitoring the market and developing competitive analyses.
• Defining a vision for a product.
• Aligning stakeholders around the vision for the product.
• Prioritizing product features and capabilities.
• Creating a shared brain across larger teams to empower independent decision-making.
• Driving Marketing Strategy for CP New product launches
• Designing a Marketing Plan for CP portfolio
• Developing communication Strategy & Brand USPs
• Coordination with Sales, Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, IPR, legal and other cross functional teams for ensuring successful Launches
• Strong coordination in cohort of Portfolio Management team to harmonise efforts and resource deployment
• NPI ideation, conceptualisation, market priming & effective launch for successful commercialisation with a strong asset management approach
• Post Launch Audit and effectiveness benchmarking
• Provide business cases for new products introduction/ in-house portfolio.
• Customer Value propositions and defining Value
• Training and Development activities.
• Drive Farmer Engagement; Increase activities to demonstrate product effectiveness & build brand value.
• Identifying new opportunities(markets) for Products launched

Market Intelligence:

• Analysing market trends and Customer segments
• Competing brands- market share, pricing, schemes
• Customer profile/ value analysis/brand switching behaviour
• Channel and Customer feedback monitoring

Communication mix:

• Deciding advertisement objectives/channel promo objectives/customer promo objectives
• Product promotion Inputs
• Select the communication media
• Design communication campaigns
• Product communication evaluation – Course correction

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Qualification

• B.Sc. /M.Sc. (Agri.) and MBA / PGDBM from Premier institute with significant experience in agrochemical marketing or Product management.
• Prior extensive experience in agrochemical sector and have proven product management/marketing skills.

Experience

• The incumbent should have more than 5 years of strong marketing and sales experience, preferably from Agrochemical industry.
• Good analytical / conceptual / logical skills / Brand Management Exposure.
• Good Market Connect / Ability to draw customer engagement plans
• Good Emotional Quotient/ Man Management experience
• Technically sound and strong in marketing
• Must have proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office / SAP preferred
• Effective communication skills & proficient in English language
• Must have a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
• Strong desire for continued growth and learning
