Research Associate - Formulation (Agrochemical)

Candidates having experience in an Agrochemical company will be considered.

Position Title: Research Associate - Formulation

Location - Nerul, Navi Mumbai

Role & responsibilities :

• Develop new agrochemical formulations and process
• Possess sufficient knowledge of various formulation equipment used for the development
• Should have good documentation and interpersonal skills
• Should be able to present his work in front of the senior management
• Should be able to work in a team and willing to work in shifts
• Should be conversant with technology transfers to the manufacturing plant
• Should be able to create documents for technology transfer, e.g. BOM, SOP
• Should be able to carry out troubleshooting of existing formulations
• Capable of generating new ideas on formulation technologies that can be evaluated in the lab for feasibility
• Capable of evaluating the existing formulations and see if there is scope for improvement in quality or cost reduction, in terms of raw material cost or process improvement
• To generate formulation ideas that can create value for the Company, especially those that can be protected by a patent application
• To ensure that the proper records of formulation trials are maintained and updated daily
• To ensure strict confidentiality of information

Preferred candidate profile :

Masters or Ph.D. in Life Sciences, such as Pharmaceutical Sciences, Agricultural Science, Biotechnology, Agri-Biotechnology, Chemistry, from a reputed institute and desiring to make a career in the Agrochemical Formulations field

• Candidate should have 2 to 6 years of experience (Only Agrochemical Company)
