Position: Research Associate /Scientist - Process R&D, API

Qualification: M.Sc. or Ph.D. Organic Chemistry.

Location: SML Ltd, DRC-2, Navi Mumbai

Experience: 5 to 10 years experience in process R&D.

Role: Synthetic R&D and Process development

Vacancies: 2 Nos

Description: Handling process development and synthetic R&D, Experience in process development, optimization, validation, scale-up, cost-effective, safe and eco-friendly technologies the synthesis of API, intermediates and support NCE team. Synthesize active compounds in large scale to support lead optimization programs. Creative capabilities in the areas of organic chemistry in designing, conducting multi-step organic synthesis and process impurities.

Desired Skills: Strong analytical skills, Extensive understanding of process R&D. Good experience with literature searching tools like SciFinder, Reaxys. Good knowledge and experience in drafting patents, publications and presentations. Skills including use of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ChemDraw.
