Merchandiser- Furniture & other Wooden accessories -Export

Position Overview:

The Furniture Merchandiser for export division is responsible for designing and implementing effective merchandising & sales strategies for our furniture/decorative items/accessories targeted at international markets delivering sales and profit targets. This role involves understanding market trends, customer preferences, and cultural nuances to create visually appealing and market-appropriate product displays.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute merchandising plans that align with the export goals and target markets.
• Collaborate with other department to ensure cohesive and effective product presentation.
• Collaborating with buyers, suppliers, distributors and analysts to negotiate prices, quantities and time-scales.
• Research and analyze international market trends, customer preferences, and cultural considerations to tailor merchandising strategies.
• Provide training and guidance to local teams on international merchandising standards and best practices.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience of more than 4 years in merchandising, preferably within the furniture or home decor industry and with international markets.
• Strong creative and visual merchandising skills.
• In-depth knowledge of international market trends, customer preferences, and cultural nuances.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel internationally if required.
