Assistant Sales Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Generating business leads from the cold call, existing database, through references, existing

clients, etc, identify potential prospects and contact them for meetings clients promoting

companys express / FTL/LTL transportation business in the assigned portfolio and

geography.

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and networking
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners
• Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
• Train and mentor sales team members to ensure high performance and productivity
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive and effective sales strategy
• Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management
• Participate in industry events and conferences to represent the company and promote our

products/services

• Stay updated on industry trends and competitors' activities to inform sales strategies
• Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the company

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in the transportation services sector involving FTL/LTL/Express/Sundry business etc.
• Proven track record of driving sales and achieving targets
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficient in MS Office and CRM software
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Willingness to travel as needed
