Role & responsibilities

Engineer Lead- Package/Plant Engineering will lead a team of engineers and drafters in the creation, coordination, and delivery of high-quality engineering output for Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC)projects. They will also ensure the provision of timely and accurate engineering drawing sets to customers.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the generation and delivery of engineering outputs, including P&ID, General Arrangement (GA) layouts, and Bill of Materials (BOM) specific to material handling and conveying system equipment for EPC projects.

2. Ensure the BOM is accurately prepared and entered into the SAP system, facilitating seamless coordination with supply chain management and procurement teams to support equipment manufacturing and delivery.

3. Utilize and oversee the application of engineering software such as Plant3D, AutoCAD Mechanical, and other relevant tools to produce high-quality deliverables for material handling and conveying equipment design.

4. Coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure project execution aligns with the specific requirements of material handling and conveying equipment, including customization and integration.

5. Ensure all engineering deliverables meet established industry standards, regulatory compliance, and customer specific requirements for material handling and conveying equipment. 6. Provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation to enhance the design and development of material handling systems and equipment.

7. Monitor and report on project progress, address challenges, and provide solutions to stakeholders and senior management, with a focus on meeting timelines and quality standards for equipment delivery.
