About the Role:
- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Analyst / Product Owner to join our dynamic team.
- In this critical role, you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements, translating them into functional specifications, and collaborating closely with development teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Elicit and Analyze Requirements:
- Conduct thorough needs assessments with stakeholders (clients, internal teams) to understand project objectives, business goals, and user requirements.
- Gather detailed information through interviews, workshops, surveys, and document analysis.
- Analyze business processes, identify pain points, and propose innovative solutions.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria.
Product Ownership:
- Define and prioritize product features and roadmaps based on market analysis, user feedback, and business value.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure product vision and strategy are aligned.
- Act as the voice of the customer within the development process.
- Monitor product performance, gather user feedback, and iterate on product features based on data and insights.
Project Management Support:
- Participate in project planning, estimation, and scheduling activities.
- Track project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure timely delivery.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure all requirements are met.
Communication & Collaboration:
- Effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels, including technical and non-technical audiences.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams (development, design, QA).
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather consensus and drive decision-making.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Compile and distribute reports on project progress, key performance indicators (KPIs), and project outcomes.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation throughout the product lifecycle.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA preferred.
Experience: 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner; 2+ years of experience in IT.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Experience with project management tools (Jira, Asana, etc.
- Familiarity with data analysis and reporting techniques.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Skills:
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment
