Role Overview :
- The individual will play a crucial role in supporting the business and portfolio management activities.
- He/she will work closely with the business team as well as independently to onboard new clients, evaluate potential business, conduct due diligence, monitor portfolio companies and cross sell.
Client Relationship Management :
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, understanding their financial needs and offering customized solutions.
- Develop and implement strategies to retain high-value clients, addressing their concerns promptly and enhancing satisfaction levels.
Anchor Coverage:
- Mid and large corporates for supply chain financing.
- Focusing on solutions, negotiation, onboarding and documentation.
Venture Capital (VC) Coverage:
- Develop relationships with venture capital firms to facilitate deal flow with respect to debt financing opportunities in startup space.
Due Diligence:
- Conduct thorough due diligence on prospective portfolio companies, including credit assessment, financial analysis, market research, and risk evaluation.
- Prepare detailed business memos and presentations for the business committee.
Portfolio Management:
- Monitor the financial performance and compliance of portfolio companies with various covenants and conditions.
- Ensure that all activities comply with regulatory requirements.
Debt Syndication:
- Handle debt mandates, including creating teasers and pitch decks, engaging with lenders, and ensuring successful closure of deals.
Cross-Selling Products:
- Introduce clients to additional financial products and services to increase revenue streams and wallet share.
Profile Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in finance, business, or related fields (e.g., CA). Preferred : CFA, ICWA, or FRM certifications.
Experience:
- Essential: Corporate/Mid-Market Banking, Relationship Management, or Business Development in the finance sector.
- Good to have: Experience in Banking, NBFCs, or Fintech.
