SAP ABAP/HANA Consultant (5-8 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Develop and optimize ABAP code for SAP HANA, utilizing HANA-specific features and functionalities.

- Design and implement Core Data Services (CDS) views for data modeling and reporting.

- Develop ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDPs) for efficient data processing.

- Optimize existing ABAP code for performance improvements on the HANA platform.

- Develop and maintain OData services for data integration with other systems.

- Analyze and optimize ABAP code for performance on SAP HANA.

- Utilize HANA profiling tools to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

- Implement best practices for ABAP development on HANA, including code pushdown techniques.

- Perform SQL performance tuning.

- Develop and maintain ABAP reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows.

- Utilize object-oriented ABAP (OO-ABAP) for efficient and maintainable code.

- Perform debugging and troubleshooting of ABAP applications.

- Adhere to SAP coding standards and best practices.

- Create detailed technical specifications and design documents.

- Document ABAP code and configurations.

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

- Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, and other developers to ensure successful project delivery.

- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical solutions.

- Participate in project meetings and provide status updates.

- Strong understanding of at least one or more SAP Modules (SD,MM,FI,CO,PP, etc)

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 5-8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.

- Strong hands-on experience in ABAP on HANA development.

- Proficiency in developing CDS views and AMDPs.

- Experience in optimizing ABAP code for performance on SAP HANA.

- Strong understanding of SQL and database concepts.

- Proficiency in object-oriented ABAP (OO-ABAP).

- Experience in developing and consuming OData services.

- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. -

- Experience with SAP Eclipse.

- Experience with Git or other version control systems.

Preferred Qualifications :

- SAP certifications in ABAP and HANA.

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA.

- Experience with SAP Fiori development.

- Experience with SAP Cloud Platform.

- Experience with SAP UI5.
