Role Overview:

We are seeking an Investment Analyst/Associate to join our dynamic team. The role involves supporting the investment process end-to-end, from sourcing opportunities to managing portfolio companies. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, deeply curious about startups and emerging technologies, and eager to contribute to building a robust investment portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

Deal Sourcing and Research:

- Identify and source potential investment opportunities through proactive research, networking, and participation in industry events.

- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscapes, and white spaces within focus sectors.

Financial and Strategic Analysis:

- Build and analyze financial models to evaluate potential investment opportunities.

- Assess the scalability, unit economics, and business models of startups under consideration.

- Conduct due diligence, including analysis of market positioning, technology, and management teams.

Investment Process Support:

- Prepare detailed investment memos and presentations for internal review and IC (Investment Committee) discussions.

- Collaborate with internal and external teams during deal structuring, documentation, and closure.

Portfolio Monitoring and Support:

- Monitor the performance of portfolio companies by analyzing financial and operational metrics.

- Support portfolio companies with data-driven insights, strategic initiatives, and growth planning.

Market and Industry Insights:

- Stay updated on venture capital trends, emerging sectors, and key developments in focus industries like fintech and technology.

- Contribute to the firm's thought leadership by developing thematic research reports and refining investment theses.

Ecosystem Engagement:

- Build relationships with founders, accelerators, co-investors, and other stakeholders in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

- Represent Dynamis Ventures at relevant forums, events, and pitch days.
