Position Overview:

The Content Writer will be responsible for creating compelling and high-quality written content that supports our branding, corporate communications, and marketing efforts. Working closely with the Lead Content, the Content Writer will produce engaging copy for web pages, blogs, social media, corporate brochures, internal communications, and other branded materials. The ideal candidate should have a passion for storytelling, exceptional writing skills, and the ability to adapt to various tones and styles while maintaining brand consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Content Creation: Write clear, engaging, and accurate copy for a wide range of platforms, including web pages, social media posts, blogs, case studies, press releases, email campaigns, and marketing collateral.
• Brand Storytelling: Collaborate with the Content Lead and branding team to craft compelling narratives that communicate Straive's brand values, mission, and vision to both internal and external audiences.
• Social Media & Digital Content: Write and optimize content for social media channels and digital platforms that promote "Life at Straive," corporate events, and other initiatives.
• SEO & Keyword Optimization: Develop SEO-friendly content for the website and blogs, ensuring all copy is optimized for search engines and effectively drives traffic to Straives digital platforms.
• Corporate Communications: Assist in crafting corporate messaging for internal newsletters, employee communications, leadership updates, and other internal documents to ensure cohesive and consistent communication.
• Content Research: Conduct research to ensure all content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with the latest industry trends, internal brand strategies, and target audience needs.
• Content Editing & Proofreading: Review and edit content produced by team members to ensure it aligns with brand guidelines, has a consistent voice, and is error-free.
• Collaboration & Feedback: Work closely with the design and multimedia teams to develop cohesive written and visual materials, iterating and refining content based on feedback from stakeholders and leadership.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in content writing, preferably in branding, corporate communications, or marketing roles.
• Proven track record of producing high-quality written content across multiple platforms, including blogs, social media, and corporate publications.
• Strong understanding of SEO best practices and experience with keyword research and optimization.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with digital marketing, WordPress content management systems (CMS), and social media platforms.
• Strong research skills to ensure content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with company values and objectives.
