Provides assistance to make effort estimates for the development of allowed ad-hoc system requirements by the customer
Collaborates with the Products and development team in resolving issues and proposing new functionalities for the standard product as required by customers
Ensures adherence to the Exchange standard guidelines with respect to the standard documented functionalities
Adapts and configures the standard Exchange solution according to the customer specific questionnaire provided by the project governance team
Performs testing for the different phases of a project as required.
Resolves technical problems related to the application setup
Ensures proper implementation of the solution in different environments (Development, Test and Production)
Maintenance and Support:
Investigates and resolves technical problems related to the application setup
Performs unit testing for system fixes and new parametrization to ensure the solution works according to the specifications
Supports the client on queries regarding application functions through collaboration with payroll operations and data control teams
Conducts routine checks for preventive maintenance on the system
Qualifications
In addition to the common skills to all Alight employees, the specific ones for this position are:
Has knowledge of HR pre-, post-, and payroll processing.
Has Functional knowledge of HR concepts and technologies such as SAP HCM / Peoplesoft / euHReka / Workday / SuccessFactors
Can work on multiple projects simultaneously
Knowledge and experience with the following technologies:
SQL
XSLT
Ruby on Rails
Webservices (WSDL, REST) - Not required but a plus
UNIX/LINUX scripting. Not required but a plus
Knowledge of integration technologies such as SAP XI/PI not required but good to have
