Researcher- WFH-Contract role- Night shift

Job Overview:

As a Researcher at 411 Locals, you will play a critical role in conducting market research, competitor analysis, and gathering customer feedback to inform strategic decisions and enhance our marketing initiatives for clients in the home service industry. Your insights will help us stay ahead of industry trends and algorithm updates, enhance our existing service offerings to achieve a 1:4 Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) for our clients, and ensure our services remain competitive and effective.

Shift timings: 7 AM to 4 PM PST. This is a contract position

Key Responsibilities:

• Market Research:
• Conduct comprehensive market research to identify opportunities, customer needs, and industry trends that inform product development and marketing strategies.
• Utilize surveys, focus groups, and competitive analysis to gather data-driven insights for strategic formulation.
• Competitor Analysis:
• Analyze competitors' offerings, pricing strategies, and marketing tactics to provide insights that help position our services effectively in the market.
• Evaluate competitors strengths and weaknesses, market positioning, and strategies to identify opportunities and threats.
• Customer Feedback Gathering:
• Develop and implement methods to gather customer feedback, including surveys and interviews, to understand client satisfaction and areas for improvement.
• Trend Tracking:
• Monitor industry trends, news, and algorithm updates relevant to local SEO and digital marketing, providing timely updates and recommendations to the product and marketing teams.
• Data Analysis:
• Analyze research findings and present actionable insights to stakeholders, ensuring data-driven decisions are made to improve marketing strategies and client outcomes.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and SEO, to share research findings and contribute to strategic planning.
• Reporting:
• Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing research findings, competitor analysis, and customer feedback, presenting this information in a clear and actionable format.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Stay informed about emerging research methods and tools that can enhance our research capabilities and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Market Research Expertise: Proven experience in conducting comprehensive market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and customer behaviors relevant to digital marketing or SEO.
• Industry-Specific Experience: Familiarity with the home service industry, local SEO, or similar fields is highly valuable.
• Competitor Analysis Skills: A background in evaluating competitors strategies to derive actionable insights that inform strategic decisions.
• Analytical Tools Proficiency: Hands-on experience with research tools, survey platforms, and analytics software for gathering and interpreting data.
