Job description:
Senior Manager Procurement is responsible for overseeing the procurement function, ensuring the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. This role emphasizes operational excellence, supplier management, and compliance with procurement policies and industry standards. Senior Manager will lead the procurement team, manage supplier relationships, and ensure operational efficiency across all procurement activities.
Operational Management:
- Oversee daily procurement operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
- Manage the procurement budget and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Monitor performance to measure procurement effectiveness and efficiency.
Inventory Management:
- To oversee logistics, planning and purchasing to ensure the cost.
Procurement Excellence:
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes and systems.
- Apply best practices and industry standards to enhance procurement performance.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of procurement processes to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Procurement of Material Annually Raw Material, Finished Goods, Corporate and Plant Procurement Functions- CAPEX, IT, Consumables.
Supplier Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct supplier performance evaluations and implement improvement plans as needed.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Sourcing of New Vendor and Managing Existing Vendors.
- Maintain Company Budget and Streamlines costs.
Risk Management and Compliance :
- Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks, including supply chain disruptions and non-compliance issues.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and ensure procurement activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with other departments to understand their procurement needs and provide effective solutions.
- Communicate procurement policies, procedures, and performance to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
