Designation: Regional Manager - Sales & Marketing
Department: Sales & Marketing
Direct Reporting To: VP Sales

Job Purpose:
The candidate will be responsible for building business primarily to generate sales and achieve the sales target while managing prospective customers across India and further develop/maintain relationships with Hospital, Dealer, Distributors network
Responsibilities:
- Shall be responsible for driving sales target achievement on monthly, quarterly & yearly basis.
- Should be proactive & innovative for identifying/approaching new business opportunities (Hospital/Dealer base)
- Shall be responsible for generation of business from Trade, Govt, Exports, OEMs & Institutional
- Shall be responsible for converting these leads/prospects into order in a positive manner.
- Shall be responsible for driving sales team at PAN India Level directly reported by ZH/RH
- Shall be responsible for setting up Hospital/Dealers/Super Stockiest base across geographies
- Shall be responsible for resolving clients complaints regarding sales and service in coordination production team.
- Shall be responsible for driving sales follow-up with existing Hospital/Dealers/Super Stockiest
- Shall be responsible for overseeing collection of outstanding from the Hospital/Dealers/Super Stockiest as per company norms.
- Shall be responsible for keeping the update of market visit periodically Hospital/Dealers/Super Stockiest.
- Shall be responsible for assisting with any additional tasks as assigned by the Company.
Accountability:
- Achievement of Monthly/Quarterly/Half yearly/Annual sales target
- Achievement of Monthly/Quarterly/Half yearly/Annual collection target
- Achievement of Monthly/Quarterly/Half yearly/Annual new client acquisition target
- Responsible for supporting Sales Coordinator for maintaining database, lead generation, appointment fixation
- Responsible for generating repeat orders from existing clients
- Responsible for maintaining daily, weekly, monthly reports as assigned
Authority:
- Decide on own market visit plan, visit as per PJP
- Quote pricing to prospective clients to the level as assigned through policy
- To decide on payment terms to be given to prospective clients as assigned through policy
- Team review and drive sales, Goal sheet drive on monthly/quarterly/ yearly basis
- Daily Reporting mechanism to be followed, drive daily sales productivity
Requisite Skills:
- Preferably sales background from Medical/Pharma Sales & Marketing
- Must have knowhow & contacts of Medical devices, Pharma industry
- Should have the ability and desire to sell
- Excellent communication skills
- Should have computer knowledge, ability to draft & send sales proposals over mail
- Positive, confident and determined approach
- Resilience and the ability to cope with rejection
- High degree of self-motivation and ambition
- Skills to work independently
- Capability to flourish in a competitive environment
- Willing to travel as per organization requirement
- Commercial awareness
Desired Skills:
- Has experience in sales in pharma industry & contacts in Govt Hospital, Pvt Hospital, Dealers, Super stockiest of medical devices domain
Education: MBA
Relevant Experience: Min. 5 years in Medical disposable sales
Work time 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM
Preferred Domain: Experience in Pharma/Medical Devices industry sales
