Position : Sales Manager
Job description:
The Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in identifying growth opportunities and driving revenue for the organization.
This role involves creating and executing strategies to expand the company's market presence, foster client relationships, and achieve sales targets.
The Business Development Manager will responsible for exploring new markets, partnerships, and business ventures to ensure sustainable growth and profitability.
Role & Responsibilities:
Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of the PSU and Government sector to identify potential clients, projects, and opportunities.
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and regulatory changes to stay ahead in the industry.
Business Strategy:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to penetrate the PSU and Government sector effectively.
- Monitor and analyze government market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify emerging opportunities and risks.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in government organizations and PSUs.
- Understand clients' needs, concerns, and pain points, and tailor solutions to meet their specific requirements.
Proposal Development:
- Collaborate with internal teams, including technical and operational departments, to create compelling and competitive proposals.
- Ensure that all proposals comply with the requirements and regulations of the government procurement process.
Contract Negotiation:
- Lead contract negotiations and discussions with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements are reached.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory aspects throughout the negotiation process.
Networking and Partnerships:
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance the company's visibility and expand the professional network.
- Establish strategic partnerships and alliances to strengthen the company's position in the PSU and Government sector.
Performance Tracking and Reporting:
- Regularly monitor the performance of business development activities and initiatives.
- Generate reports and present progress to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Preferred candidate profile:
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in business development, with a strong focus on the PSU and Government sector.
- Proven track record of winning contracts and driving revenue growth in the targeted sector.
- In-depth knowledge of government procurement processes, policies, and regulations.
- Strong understanding of the public sector landscape and its unique challenges.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
- Strong leadership skills to manage a team effectively.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant business development tools
