Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and highly experienced Vice President - IPO (Initial Public Offering) to lead and oversee our company's IPO operations and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and capital market transactions, especially in handling IPOs. The VP - IPO will play a crucial role in managing end-to-end IPO processes and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the entire process of Initial Public Offerings, from pre-IPO preparation to post-IPO compliance, ensuring all procedures align with regulatory standards.
- Ensure adherence to SEBI, stock exchange regulations, and other relevant laws throughout the IPO lifecycle.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities, auditors, legal advisors, underwriters, and investment banks to ensure smooth execution of IPO-related activities.
- Conduct thorough due diligence and ensure the accuracy and completeness of disclosures in offer documents, prospectuses, and other public filings.
- Oversee corporate governance requirements, ensuring that board approvals, resolutions, and compliance processes are in line with legal and regulatory obligations.
- Identify potential risks associated with the IPO process and implement strategies to mitigate them.
- Ensure ongoing compliance post-listing, including financial disclosures, shareholder communication, and adherence to reporting requirements.
- Stay updated on capital market trends, competitor activities, and investor sentiment to advise senior leadership on strategic decisions.
- Build and lead a team of professionals focused on executing IPO-related tasks, providing guidance and support throughout the process.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in handling IPO processes, corporate governance, and capital markets.
- Strong knowledge of SEBI regulations, listing requirements, and securities laws.
- Proven experience in dealing with regulatory authorities such as SEBI and stock exchanges.
- Expertise in managing end-to-end IPO transactions and maintaining post-IPO compliance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills to manage internal teams and external stakeholders effectively.
- CS or CA Degree is mandatory; additional qualifications in finance or law will be an added advantage.
