Job Description
- Build Multi TB database systems of high availability and quality
- Monitor database performance, implement changes and apply new patches and versions when required.
- Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR)
- Hands-on on high availability tools like Patroni, etcd, HAProxy for postgres cluster
- In-depth Knowledge of backups, restores and recovery models
- Experience on pgBackRest tool and experience on restoring databases in case of DR
- Troubleshoot and resolve database performance problems (performance tuning)
- Manage security and report incidents
- Excellent working experience on Linux environments
- Experience developing Triggers, Stored Procedures
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Gitlab and Automation Tools like Ansible
- Experience working with Cloud
- Experience on TimescaleDB/timeseries preferred
