Required CNC & VMC Engineer For Automobile Plant at Mehsana, Gujarat

Role & responsibilities

• To ensure the preparation of right machining CAD/CAM programming and tools selection as per customer requirement (including new developments).
• Create and modify programming methods and CNC codes using CAM software, while selecting appropriate speeds, feeds, and tooling.
• To ensure programs are in accordance to required drawings, specifications and quality system.
• To ensure the cost per wheel (Machining cost) within budgeted cost.
• To ensure the achievement of OEE target and Analysis & action plan.
• Continual working on reduction of set up time( SMED)
• Responsible for fixtures and tools calibration and management.
• To meet all customers requirements and zero non conformances in systems audit (Quality, Safety, customer etc).
• To ensure the tools life monitoring system for better /optimum tools utilisations (tooling cost per wheel)
• Setup change planning
• Production & Rejection Gap Analysis & action plan
• TPM and Continual Improvement
• Ensuring good 5S in Department Level
• Coordinate with supporting departments
• Ensuring optimum utilization of equipments

Preferred candidate profile

• Knowledge of Programming and Machining (including latest technology )-Turning Machining, VMC, HMC(5-Axis)
• Adopt PDCA concept in achieving QCD(Quality cost and delivery )
• Adopt TPM, TQM and LEAN concept.
• To ensure 100% TEI in KAIZEN, Suggestions, QC, Autonomous maintenance etc.
• Knowledge of trouble shooting.
• Latest machining technology
• Latest version of NX CAM Programming(CAD/CAM)
• Must be able to read and interpret complex machining drawings.
• Leadership and Analytical skills.
• Component of alloy and Casting, machining & painting methods,
• Knowledge of quality and safety standards and parameters.
• Knowledge of IATF and IMS Standard and requirement.
• Good Communication skill
• Administrative and financial skills
