About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Lead /Senior Product Manager to lead our Payouts Products. This role focuses on building and managing scalable, efficient, and secure payout solutions for businesses, including vendor payments, employee disbursals, partner commissions, and other related use cases. You will play a critical role in defining the product vision, ensuring seamless integrations with payment networks, and delivering exceptional user experiences for payout stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Vision & Strategy:

- Develop and own the product roadmap for payouts products, aligning with business goals and market demands.

- Identify emerging trends and opportunities in payouts, ensuring the product remains competitive and innovative.

End-to-End Product Management:

- Drive the design, development, and deployment of payout workflows, ensuring seamless fund disbursals across methods such as NEFT, RTGS, UPI, IMPS, wallets, and cross-border transfers.

- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and design teams to ensure timely delivery of features and enhancements.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

- Partner with internal teams, including finance, compliance, and risk, to align product functionalities with operational requirements.

- Engage with external stakeholders like payment gateways, banking partners, and third-party providers to enhance the payout ecosystem.

Compliance & Risk Mitigation:

- Ensure products comply with regulatory frameworks (e.g., PCI-DSS, RBI guidelines, AML/KYC requirements).

- Collaborate with risk teams to build robust fraud detection and prevention mechanisms.

User Experience:

- Build intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for business users to configure, monitor, and reconcile payouts.

- Gather feedback from end-users to refine and improve product features.

Data & Analytics:

- Define KPIs to measure product performance, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

- Leverage data insights to drive continuous product optimization and feature prioritization.

Scalability & Performance:

- Ensure the payout system is scalable to handle high transaction volumes and adaptable to new payment methods or geographies.

- Proactively address performance bottlenecks and maintain system reliability.

Qualifications:

Experience:

- 6+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on payments, fintech, or banking.

- Hands-on experience with managing payout products, APIs, and integrations with payment networks.

Technical Expertise:

- Strong understanding of payment processing systems, APIs, and banking integrations.

- Knowledge of database systems, reconciliation processes, and financial reporting tools.

Skills:

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

- Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.

- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, technology, or a related field (MBA preferred).

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with global payouts and cross-border payment solutions.

- Familiarity with blockchain or tokenized payment innovations.

- Knowledge of agile product management tools like Jira, Confluence, and analytics tools like SQL or Tableau.
