About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead/Senior Product Manager to spearhead our omnichannel retail initiatives. This role is critical in shaping seamless, end-to-end customer experiences across digital and physical touchpoints, driving customer engagement, retention, and revenue growth. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of omnichannel retail strategies, strong technical acumen, and a proven track record of delivering impactful product solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Omnichannel Product Strategy & Vision:
- Define the product vision and strategy for omnichannel experiences, including digital-to-store journeys, in-store technology, and fulfillment solutions (e.g., BOPIS, curbside pickup, same-day delivery).
- Stay ahead of retail trends and competitor strategies to ensure the product roadmap aligns with market needs and business objectives.
End-to-End Experience Ownership:
- Lead the development of features that bridge online and offline retail channels, ensuring a consistent, customer-centric experience.
- Oversee initiatives like real-time inventory visibility, personalized marketing, loyalty integration, and seamless payment experiences.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, operations, and store teams to ensure alignment and successful product delivery.
- Engage with external partners such as payment processors, logistics providers, and technology vendors to expand product capabilities.
Data-Driven Insights & Decision-Making:
- Define and monitor key metrics to evaluate product performance, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
- Leverage customer insights and analytics to drive iterative product improvements.
Fulfillment & Logistics Innovations:
- Develop and enhance fulfillment options, including ship-to-store, same-day delivery, and in-store pickup.
- Partner with supply chain and logistics teams to optimize backend processes for faster and more accurate deliveries.
Technology Enablement:
- Collaborate with technical teams to integrate emerging technologies like AI/ML for personalization, AR/VR for enhanced shopping experiences, and IoT for smart inventory management.
- Drive the development of scalable and secure platforms that support omnichannel operations.
Leadership & Mentorship:
- Mentor junior product managers, fostering a culture of innovation and customer obsession.
- Act as a thought leader within the organization, advocating for best practices in omnichannel retail.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- 6+ years of product management experience, with a focus on omnichannel retail, e-commerce, or consumer technology.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex product initiatives.
Domain Expertise:
- Deep understanding of omnichannel retail trends, customer behaviors, and operational challenges.
- Experience with fulfillment workflows, inventory management systems, and digital payment solutions.
Technical Acumen:
- Familiarity with retail technology stacks, APIs, and cloud-based solutions.
- Knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Google Analytics) and project management platforms (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
Soft Skills:
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Education: Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related field (MBA preferred).
