Our teams of technical experts specialize in harnessing live sporting data, using advanced cloud technologies, Java, JavaScript and Python. It is these tech teams that enable us to extract patterns through AI and Machine Learning and deliver our insights via APIs. In short, they turn complex data into magical experiences with cutting-edge technology.
Responsibilities:
You are joining a growing business intelligence team who function as an independent unit
responsible for both end-to-end design of analytics reporting suites for internal customers across the business as well as development and maintenance of external customer reporting.
The Business Intelligence and Insights group utilizes PowerBI, Tableau and Qlik to meet our customer s needs. In your role as a Business Intelligence & Insights Specialist, you will manage a portfolio of customers from intake through production to ensure that they receive reporting that provides actionable insights. You can expect to be actively building projects for multiple customers at a time.
Qlik Sense Development: Design, develop, and deploy Qlik Sense applications, dashboards, and reports that provide business insights.
- Implement data modeling, data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes utilising SQL.
- Develop complex scripts, set analysis, and expressions to deliver interactive, user-friendly analytics solutions.
- Optimize performance of Qlik Sense applications and manage data relationships in the app.
-nPrinting Development: Create, manage, and distribute automated reports through Qlik nPrinting.
- Develop templates, schedules, and automated report distribution processes.
- Implement robust governance and version control for report management.
Power BI Development : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop Power BI reports when needed.
Assist in data preparation and DAX scripting for creating interactive Power BI dashboards.
Ensure a seamless user experience by coordinating visuals, data sources, and integration efforts.
Desired Qualifications:
- 2+ years of formal experience in analytics or business intelligence, specifically developing reporting solutions utilising QlikSense, nPrinting, SQL and PowerBI.
- Experience in designing ETL processes, including knowledge of data warehousing strategies and theories.
- Understanding of dimensional modelling (Star / Snowflake Schema).
- High degree of comfort with the Atlassian suite, specifically Jira and Confluence
- Experience working on an Agile development team
