Role & responsibilities

1. Customer Engagement: Initiate outbound calls to potential customers to introduce insurance products and services. Actively listen to customer needs and concerns to tailor discussions around appropriate insurance solutions.

2. Product Knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of various insurance policies and their benefits to effectively communicate with customers. Keep updated with industry trends and changes in products to provide accurate and timely information.

3. Guidance and Consultation: Educate customers on the benefits of different insurance policies, addressing questions and clarifying doubts. Provide personalized insurance solutions that align with the customers needs and financial goals.

4. Conversion and Sales: Utilize persuasive communication skills to convert leads into clients by highlighting the value propositions of policies. Follow up with prospects to encourage decision-making and oversee the sales process until closure.

5. Documentation Preparation: Schedule and conduct in-person visits to customers locations for documentation collection. Guide clients through the paperwork process, ensuring all necessary forms are completed accurately and efficiently.

6. Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals. Provide ongoing support to clients post-sale to address any issues or questions they may have regarding their policies.

7. Performance Tracking: Monitor personal sales performance against targets and proactively seek ways to improve. Prepare and submit regular reports on sales activities, customer interactions, and conversion rates to management.

8. Compliance and Ethical Standards: Adhere to all legal and regulatory requirements related to insurance transactions. Maintain ethical standards and professionalism in all customer interactions. By fulfilling these roles and responsibilities, the Insurance Sales Consultant plays a critical role in driving sales, enhancing customer satisfaction, and contributing to the overall success of the insurance organization.



Preferred candidate profile

Education: Fresh Graduates: Any fresher graduate with a degree from a recognized university is encouraged to apply. Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn are essential.

Undergraduates: Candidates with relevant work experience in sales or customer service are also welcome to apply, regardless of their academic qualification.


Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with customers. Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and establish trust with clients. Ability to listen actively and address customer concerns professionally. Competence in presenting information clearly and persuasively.


Experience: Previous experience in sales, customer service, or a related field is a plus for undergraduates applying for the position. A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets will be beneficial. Personal Attributes: Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a positive attitude. Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to travel for client meetings and documentation.

50% Fleet On Street, 50% WFO

Versant 4 Equivalent.

Exp/Fresher & HSC/ Graduate.

Background verification BGV will include - Address, Employment & Criminal Checks.

Candidate must have a Bike, Smart Phone and Laptop will be provided by Startek.

Petrol allowance 1500 to 2000

Working window - 9:30AM to 6:30PM, 6 days

Paid training 14 days
