Job Description:
About:
- The company is a crypto-assets trading platform licensed and regulated by the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) and Dubai's Virtual Asset Regulatory Authority (VARA).
- In the company, investors can buy, sell, send, receive, and store digital assets safely and securely, as well as deposit and withdraw in their local currency.
- Through competitive fees, high liquidity, and an educational approach, They aims to be the simplest and most trusted digital assets platform in the region.
- Currently the company is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Strategy Associate to join the team.
- This role is crucial in supporting our business strategies, focusing on deal origination, execution, and management within the cryptocurrency market.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, a deep understanding of the crypto ecosystem, and excellent strategic and analytical skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deal Origination and Execution: Identify, evaluate, and execute business opportunities in the cryptocurrency market.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to inform strategy and identify trends and opportunities in the crypto space.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies to optimize deal flow and maximize value for the company.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, investors, and partners.
- Due Diligence: Perform detailed due diligence on potential deals, including financial analysis, risk assessment, and compliance checks.
- Data Room Preparation: Prepare and manage the data room for potential investors, ensuring all necessary documents and information are accurate and up-to-date.
- Investor Reports: Prepare comprehensive investor reports to keep stakeholders informed of deal progress and company performance.
- Coordination: Coordinate with lawyers, internal and external shareholders, and other relevant parties to ensure smooth deal execution.
- Company Presentations: Develop and deliver compelling presentations to stakeholders, including investors, board members, and potential partners.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and documentation to support deal proposals and management decisions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including legal, compliance, and finance, to ensure smooth execution of deals.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest developments in the cryptocurrency market and continuously improve strategies and processes.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Education: Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
- Experience: 4+ years of experience in strategy, investment banking, corporate finance, or a related field.
- Experience in the cryptocurrency industry is highly desirable.
- Experience in Start-ups: Roles in "CEO's office" or "Strategy.
- Experience in Funds.
- Financial Modeling: Proficiency in financial modeling is essential.
- Additionally, company are interested in candidates with:
- Experience in Banks, VC Funds, Series A Startups, or Consulting Firms: Especially those involved in "deals" work.
